Edwards Design PDX was founded in Portland, Oregon in 2003.  I’ve always been creative and artistic but my masters degree in international management wasn’t always the best fit with my creative side.  My design career truly started when I became a computer software trainer and taught Photoshop, HTML coding, Quark, Illustrator and other design technologies to local businesses.  I moved on to work at an art production company where I put my technical skills to use in a design-oriented environment.  Most recently, I’ve worked in communications and marketing for several nonprofit organizations. Throughout it all, I’ve grown a thriving freelance graphic design business that provides my clients with business design solutions.

My clients include small, local start-ups, non-profits and several big companies.  I love the challenge and creativity of working with all types of clients on all types of projects.

When not in a designing frenzy, I love spending time with my husband, two teens and our chocolate lab, Bo, in the great outdoors.  Hiking, camping, cross-country skiing, kayaking and swimming (both pool and open water) are a few of my passions.
